Select a plant from the palette on the left, then click or drag on the grid to place it. Use the size controls to set your garden dimensions (1 cell = 30cm × 30cm). Switch between Place, Erase, Path and Water modes using the toolbar. The garden auto-saves every time you make a change. Export your plan as a PNG image or JSON file to save or share. Load a previously saved JSON file to continue where you left off.

Each cell represents 30cm × 30cm (approximately 1 square foot) of real garden space. So a 8×6 grid = 2.4m × 1.8m garden. Use the spacing guide at the bottom of the screen to check recommended planting distances for each plant you place. For example, Tomatoes need 2 cells spacing, Marigolds need 1 cell, and large trees like Mango need 5 cells minimum.

Your garden auto-saves to your browser every time you make a change. To save permanently or share, click Export → Export as JSON (.json) to download a file. To reload on any device, click Load / Import → Upload .json File and select your saved file. You can also paste JSON text directly or load the browser auto-save. The JSON file contains all plant placements, garden size and layout data.

Yes — click Export → Export as Image (.png) to download a PNG image of your garden layout. The image includes all plant emojis with names, path markings, water areas and a footer with the PlantCare website. Great for sharing on WhatsApp, printing or keeping as a reference. The image quality depends on your zoom level — use Large zoom for higher resolution exports.

40+ plants across 5 categories: Vegetables (Tomato, Chilli, Brinjal, Okra, Cucumber, Spinach, Potato, Onion, Garlic, Carrot, Cabbage, Pumpkin), Flowers (Rose, Marigold, Hibiscus, Jasmine, Sunflower, Dahlia, Bougainvillea, Lily), Herbs (Tulsi, Mint, Coriander, Curry Leaf, Aloe Vera, Ginger, Fenugreek, Lemongrass), Fruits (Lemon, Guava, Papaya, Banana, Pomegranate, Strawberry, Mango) and Trees (Neem, Bamboo, Coconut, Drumstick). Search by name or filter by category.

Path mode (🛤️) marks walking paths and access corridors in your garden — click cells to mark them brown. Water mode (💧) marks water source locations, drip irrigation points or pond areas — click cells to mark them blue. These help you visualize the complete garden layout including infrastructure, not just plant placement. They are purely visual markers and do not affect the plant spacing guide.

Path mode (🛤️) garden में चलने के रास्ते और access corridors mark करता है — cells को brown में mark करता है। Water mode (💧) पानी के sources, drip irrigation points या तालाब areas mark करता है — cells को blue में mark करता है। ये complete garden layout visualize करने में help करते हैं। ये purely visual markers हैं और plant spacing guide को affect नहीं करते।
